We’re looking for a new Community Builder to work with minority and underrepresented communities in Redditch.

Community builders encourage a supportive, inclusive and welcoming society by identifying and building upon individuals’ and communities’ existing skills, talents, passions and energies (assets), to help them become stronger and more resilient. They do this by:
- Supporting residents to grow in confidence, enabling them to feel empowered and more connected to their local community.
- Talking to residents to understand what they love about their neighbourhoods and the change they want to see
- Working with local residents and organisations to identify community assets and strengths.
- Supporting residents using the skills and assets they have to connect and take action through conversation, story-sharing and working alongside them.
- Connect residents to existing or new resources to help them achieve their passions

Applications are by:
- Application form or a CV. Either is acceptable. If you prefer a CV it should cover similar information to the application form
- An equivalent of a ‘covering letter’ describing how you fulfil the person specification. This can be written, recorded spoken word or video.
