REDI Centre

Description of the role
We are seeking volunteers to get involved with our youth groups, a junior group (7-13s) and seniors (13-18s). This role is to support the planning and running of youth groups that are aimed to grow and develop young people in their transition from childhood to adulthood.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has an interest or background in youth work or working with young people.
- You need to be enthusiastic and empathetic as you work with a diverse group of young people ranging from 8-19 years old across multiple groups.
- It would be helpful if volunteers would have a creative and playful streak, not being afraid to get involved with activities and games with young people.
Practical Considerations
It will encompass some basic training and potential further training in the areas of safeguarding, youth work, first aid etc.
Any specific requirements
- A Criminal Record Check (DBS) is required.
- Must be 18 or over.

This role is primarily evening based and are supervised by qualified staff.

The REDI Centre is a community resource hub located in the heart of Redditch.
We are dedicated to the development of young people and run various youth sessions and activities for those who face particular challenges and those who just want a safe space to be themselves, whether that be in a group session or 1-1, we always adapt to the young persons needs.
The REDI Centre is a place where anyone can meet to learn new skills or socialise, and this is not just limited to the youth of Redditch! We run activities for ALL age groups!
