Writing Mentor

Redditch Library

Description of the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to work with young people aged 10-18 to develop their confidence in writing fiction, non-fiction and poetry. This will be for a monthly workshop. The volunteer will be provided with some materials but would be expected to develop their own writing exercises and have the knowledge and relevant experience to encourage young people on their writing journey. Teaching experience or publishing experience would be fantastic, but not essential.
