Description of the role
Our community centre is seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to join our team. We have an array of opportunities for volunteers to get involved in such as; Community Outreach, Community Events, Admin, Marketing, Maintenance and Youth Engagement.
Volunteers with experience in specific fields such as Marketing and Maintenance are desirable however we are happy to train and guide volunteers in other fields. We would like our volunteers to be welcoming to engage with members of the public and enthusiastic about their local community and development.
Practical Considerations
- We require all volunteers to be DBS checked which will be covered cost wise via YMCA Worcestershire. All our buildings have parking on site with ramp access if needed.
Any specific requirements
- Requires a Criminal Record check.
- Minimum age to apply is 18.
Where is the opportunity based?
This opportunity is across the Church Hill area within Redditch.
When is the opportunity available?
Our volunteering opportunities are available on flexible hours 7 days a week between the hours of 9am-5pm
