Description of the role
The recent recruitment drive for directors is to replace 2 current directors, and add 2 more directors. This is a strategic move to bring in 4 specific skillsets to help the nursery thrive.
Trustee Finance Director
We are looking for someone who has an accountancy background, or has ran/runs a business. This is your opportunity to support a great local Community Interest Company by reviewing accounts, approving accounts, attending quarterly directors meetings and deliver a report at the AGM. You will be supported by an administrator and a local accountancy firm. You will also have a handover from the existing Finance Director.
Trustee HR Director
We are looking for someone who has worked in the field of HR to help in matters relating to Human Resources. This will include proof reading policies, advising in matters related to HR, and attending quarterly directors meetings. This is a new role, that we feel will add a huge benefit to Noah’s Ark nursery without being too demanding on a volunteer.
Trustee General Director
We are looking for somebody who has organisational skills, and preferably someone who has worked in committees before to help with governance of the Directors. This is a replacement role for a retiring director. You will be calling AGMs, arranging Directors Meetings, and minuting meetings. This role should not be too demanding on a volunteer, but will help to support the other directors in their roles.
Trustee Funding Director
We are looking for somebody who is motivated with good research and writing skills to help find and apply for funding opportunities. This role has the potential to make a huge difference to the Children at Noah’s Ark and to the community we serve by providing more opportunities. If you are looking to expand your CV, this is the voluntary role for you.

Noah’s Ark Nursery is a CIC (Community Interest Company) that not only delivers child care, but to help the parents, staff, and public in the local community. Trustee Directors are volunteers that, together, deliver the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS).
