Description of the role
We encourage more people to come along and enjoy litter picking with us, as well as identifying other areas which need a tidy up.
As well as litter picking, we would like to become a social group for residents to engage with. We will be achieving this in a number of ways to appeal to as many as possible. If you would like to be more involved in the group, please do get in touch.
Activities include litter picking, community engagement, befriending and health and safety.
Practical Considerations
- Some areas we will be working at will not be accessible for people with mobility issues/health impairments, due to uneven ground etc.
- Our work is quite physical so we would require all volunteers to work within their own personal limits.

About the organisation
We are a Redditch based environmentalist group which primarily focuses on litter picking. We aim to engage and encourage our local community to love where they live and take pride in keeping it tidy and safe for all residents, animals and wildlife.
We wish to host regular litter picks around the town, as well as set up litter picking for specific needs such as mental health walks etc.
We are also involved with national charity Keep Britain Tidy and one of our core members is a KBT Litter heroes Ambassador.
