Description of the role
We are currently looking for someone to facilitate a Walking Cricket session, it is currently on a Monday evening at Terrys field in Redditch.
All training will be provided to include:
- First Aid
- Cricket playmakers
- Safeguarding
This is an ongoing session that is likely to stop during the winter months, giving us lots of time to get you up to speed and to promote the session.
List of activities the volunteer will do:
- Welcome new participants and take registers
- Set up and monitor a WhatsApp group to encourage team bonding (not compulsory)
- Look after and set up equipment weekly
- HAVE FUN
We are looking for:
- Our volunteer will ideally have a genuine interest in Cricket and inclusivity
- Skills should include being personable and friendly to all participants (and non-participants)
Practical Considerations
- This is on Monday evenings
- Training will be provided
- Opportunity to begin in spring 2024
