Redditch Shopmobility (Provided by Redditch Borough Council)

Description of the role
You will provide support to customers using Shopmobility to enable them to access mobility vehicles that support their independence. You will provide and assist shopping service around the Kingfisher Centre to customers
who require this. This may include pushing a manual Wheelchair.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accompanying customers in the Kingfisher Centre whilst they shop.
- Providing guidance when accessing difficult to navigate areas.
- Taking Items from displays that may be inaccessible for customer to view.
- Assisting with bags of shopping.
- Pushing a manual wheelchair if required.
- Attend team meetings and training as required.
Practical Considerations
You will deliver scooters around Kingfisher so you need to be able to walk to different car parks.
Any specific requirements
- Must be 18 or over
- Require a Criminal Record Check (DBS).
