Bromsgrove Library

Description of the role
We are looking to recruit a digital champion (or champions) to support our customers with basic IT at libraries in our cluster. The role would include helping customers to log in to a computer, access websites, download forms, set up email, apply for blue badges and bus passes, print. The role would be for a max of 3 hours per week and would be the same day and time each week. Training and support would be given by library staff. Appointments would be booked for customers with the digital champion by library staff in advance or you would be supporting those who drop in on the day.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, approachable and reliable. IT skills are essential but also patience. You need to be able to communicate with a variety of different people. You will also on occasion be handling personal data so you need to be aware of the rules around this.
