About the organisation
We are recruited by West Midlands Ambulance Service to respond to 999 incidents and render aid under the ambulance reaches the incident. We are all volunteers and receive no funding from West Midlands Ambulance Service. Our charity funds our first responder vehicle, our medical and responding equipment, uniform and other related equipment and expenses. We also provide CPR awareness training to the public and support community defibrillators and their placement within the community. Originally we were part of a bigger Hereford and Worcester charity, but separated off in 2022 and shortly after became a registered charity.
