Description of the role

The aim of this role is to assist the staff with encouraging patients to participate in activities/ games. To enhance social interaction and support patients to have meaningful interactions.
To assist staff in games and activities for patients to increase their rehab journey and improve length of stay. To be fun and engaging with patients. To spread some cheer on the ward.

We are looking for:

  • Somebody who is caring and wishes to enhance the patients experience during the hospital stay.
  • An individual who is friendly and happy and wishes to help both staff and patient have meaningful interactions

Practical Considerations

Travel expenses and parking expenses can be claimed.

Any specific requirements

  • Requires relevant qualifications or training.
  • Requires references.
  • Requires DBS check.
  • Must be 18 or over.
  • Must own a computer or have secure access to one.

We would really liked someone during the weekday, who can accommodate weekends as well – from 11 am onwards.

About the organisation

We deliver mental health and learning disability services across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. We also run community hospitals, community nursing, services for children and families, specialist dental and sexual health services in Worcestershire.
